Responsible for designing and implementing information systems which will adequately support the enterprise infrastructure of the organization. Analyzes system requirements and ensures that systems will offer security and will be effectively integrated with current applications. Ensures that all systems are working at optimal levels and offers support to application development department regarding new technologies and system requirements. Has thorough knowledge of infrastructure, application programming, and web and software applications. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 6 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of Contractor staff. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Contractor must be Salesforce Certified Architect or have equivalent experience. Must have public sector experience or obvious understanding of Salesforce platform use in the public sector. Contractor will provide separate analysis and recommendation on the fit and purpose of the Salesforce.com platform and services to satisfy the requirements of this project either in total or for specific opportunities, to include (but not limited to):
◦Enterprise Salesforce Strategy: Roadmap and Prioritization
◦Salesforce Org strategy for large number of orgs (>30)
◦Licensing Strategy & Cost Modeling
◦Data bandwidth requirements
◦Latency Considerations
◦Identity management, single sign on, information security, and security policies
◦Wave
◦Demonstrate enterprise and business architecture thought leadership in the public sector
◦App rationalization (ex: SFDC vs. Java), Capability selection (ex: Webex Social vs. Chatter)
◦Proof of concept development in sandbox (ex: Customer vs. Partner Communities)
◦Ongoing OIT Salesforce development team enablement
