Job Title: Java/J2EE with AWS Cloud

Location: Walnut Creek, CA

Position Type: Contract

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Job Description:

Key skills required for the job are: Java-J2EE(Mandatory)Agile Modeling(Mandatory)Mobile Web App development Amazon Web Services – AWS Google Cloud Platform

·         MUST Able to lead a small scrum team of developers Proficient in architecture, documentation, and presenting ideas to the team Proficient in English Good communication skills in a team environment 3+ years experience with agile software development 6+ years experience with Java and J2EE 6+ years experience with web application design and development

·         Have one of the following Strong Knowledge of Cloud Development (i.e. OpenStack, VMWare, AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)

·         Strong knowledge of non-relational databases (i.e. Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, etc.)

·         Strong knowledge of caching (i.e. Spring, Hibernate, Memcache, etc.)

·         Strong knowledge of queuing (Rabbit MQ, Storm MQ, Kafka)

 

Skill and Experience Details:

Minimum Experience Required: 5-8 YEARS

Mandatory Skills: Agile Modeling, Java-J2EE Messaging and Interfacing, Web Services, Java-J2EE, Java Transaction Management

Desirable Skills: Amazon Web Services - AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Mobile Web App development
