Position: QTP TESTER WITH GTK FRAMEWORK (MANDATORY)

Location: North Quincy, MA

Duration: 3+ Months (3 to 6 Months)

Experience: 5+ YEARS

 

Job Description:

·         Minimum 3+ yrs of QTP & hands on experience mandatory

·         Should have Automation Framework knowledge/Framework Development

·         Should have understanding of basic testing concepts

·         Should have debugging skills

·         Should be able to differentiate the various test automation frameworks in the market and their applicability to the AUT Planning & Analysis for Automation Script Development Scripts

·         Development & Execution experience Maintenance of Automation Scripts Metrics Analysis of Automation Mentoring/Training on Tools/Framework to new Team members

·         Ability to work independently and in Team environment with strong collaboration skills.

Technical skills:

Test Automation:

·         Should be capable to understand the underlying technology on the various automation tools.

·         Should be capable to evaluate the best tool to the client.

·         Should be capable to create the required automationframework to the client.

Web Testing:

·         Should have good knowledge & concepts of UI validations, GUI features etc.

·         Concepts of Globalisation and Localization testing will be an added advantage

Application Testing:

·         Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like UnitIntegration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing and should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases.

·         Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Orthogonal Array Tool.

·         Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool

QTP:

·         Demonstrates knowledge of automation, recording script and playback.

·         Able to capture feature of the QTP to record the multiple user actions.

·         Able to use Object Repository (OR).

·         Should be able to enhance the recorded script with verification points.

·         Should playback the scripts and observe the results in the log of the test management tool.

GTK Framework:

·         Proficiency in C/C++ API design and development Proficiency with various of GUI toolkits like GTK framework, QT Proficiency with object-oriented software development using the C++ programming language

·         Good understanding of basic algorithms and data structure.

·         Proficiency in UNIX and Windows required.
