Job Details:
QTP Automation Engineer(# of positions – 2)
6 months plus extensions
Location : Cincinnati (Travel to Los Angeles might be required. Expenses will be covered)
Only USC/GC (No H1's, EAD's)
Responsibilities:
Automation Engineer – who has developed, implemented and executed QTP Automated Regression Suites.
Create, maintain and execute and analyze test automation scripts, frameworks, programs and utilities.
Follow established processes for Framework as established by the Automation Architect
Follow established defect management and overall product quality assurance processes
Participate in reporting to practice management on testing efforts.
Interact with stakeholders and Automation Architect to understand testing objectives and requirements.
Interact with key stakeholders from the Engineering, Infrastructure, Hosting and Support teams to understand product requirements.
Able to work independently without significant manager supervision.
Critical thinking skills.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Test Automation including planning, assessments, script development & maintenance utilizing QTP
Selenium experience is an advantage
Bachelor's degree
Demonstrated ability to implement Test Automation best practices that align to the overall test planning and manual functional execution processes
Experience with the Microsoft Visual Test set of tools is strongly preferred.
Experience in full software development life cycle
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
