Job Description:

Position: System Analyst III Location: Herndon, VA Hourly rate: 55/hr  All Inclusive Longevity: Contract 6 months+ Travel: None Openings: 3 Start: ASAP In this role, you will be responsible for answering technical questions, troubleshooting problems, and guiding users to develop into SME knowledge. In addition, you may be required to extract data, format and run reports, or perform specific analytical functions using application in the lower environment. Required Skills: • 4 to 8+ years of relevant experience performing in a similar role • Strong problem solving skills and the capability to break down complex situations to discover and resolve root causes pertaining to technical issues and process issues. • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to discuss issues with users • Previous experience supporting all phases of the SDLC • Experience supporting applications in a UNIX environment • A solid understanding of database concepts • Knowledge of UNIX Shell and Korn scripting for automation of tasks • Experience with Autosys job management for scheduling, monitoring, and reporting
