Job Description:

•             8 + years IT industry experience.

•             5-8 years of experience in performance testing.

•             Candidate should have history/experience in taking ownership of performance test efforts (from requirements to report creating and everything in between including writing a performance test plan documents, building LoadRunner scripts, executing their plan and doing the analysis and reporting). 

•             Candidate should have strong HP LoadRunner, C programming, debugging, problem-solving skills.  People that have great communication skills both written and verbal. 

•             Candidate should be interested in working in a team environment and are willing to work well with this team (including reporting to a team lead) and how it’s currently configured. 

•             Candidate should have the ability and desire to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage their tasks/time appropriately.

•             Working knowledge and experience in all phases of software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, test planning, test case design, and test execution.

•             Strong analytical skills.

•             Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

 

Must Have:

•             Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools

•             4- 7 years of experience with HP LoadRunner

•             Proficient with C programming language

•             3 - 5 years of performance test design experience

•             Experience with HP Quality Center/ALM is preferred.

•             Experience with Performance Center

•             Exceptional debugging skills and ability to identify root cause of a test failure to identify if failure is due to wrong test procedure, bad test code, a device issue or device bug, and/or a test infrastructure issue or other system/network issue.

•             A deep passion about testing and quality assurance

•             Experience/Exposure testing an application that runs on multiple platforms and streams live TV and VOD files over the Internet.
