Job Title: Sr. Java UI Developer
Location: Bethesda, MD
Duration: 1+ Year
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:
· Excellent in Core Java programming with Rich UI expertise in JAVA SCRIPTS (Node. Js etc.)
· Heavy UI development experience using Custom JavaScript\ OO JavaScript\JQuery\AJAX
· Exposure to latest DOJO framework is a big plus, but not mandatory.
· HTML, CSS, Java Scripting expertise is a must
· Good knowledge of J2EE Frameworks like Struts 2, Spring MVC, EJB3, JPA265).
· 6+ years of experience in J2EE
· Core Java, J2EE Frameworks viz., Struts, Spring MVC, Hibernate
· AJAX, JQuery, DOJO
· EJB 3, JPA 1\2
· XML, XSD,SOA/Webservices, AXIS Framework
· Websphere Application Server
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills:
· Time Management
· Multi-tasking Ability
· Analytical Ability
· Communications (Listening, Persuasiveness, Oral, Written)
· Leadership (Impact, Involvement, Change Management)

· Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Project.
· At least 4-5 years full systems life cycle experience including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, requirements specifications, detail design, program specifications, coding and unit/system testing.
Job Responsibilities:
· Good Knowledge and Experience in all the SDLC Life cycle
· Interacts with client business team to gather business requirements
· Develops business cases for new system capabilities and assist in business case development/definition for other systems and projects.
· Develops creative solutions to the complex business problems and communicate with the business partners and other customers to solve business problems to deliver the required solutions.
· Design and develop requirements for new functionalities
· Come up with application performance improvement ideas/suggestions and implement the same
· Prepare documentation for client review. Conduct reviews meeting to discuss findings, risks & challenges and recommends the solutions.
· Writes and/or revises program documentation, application operational procedures and client user guides in accordance with Marriott / Client guidelines
· Designs the systems test requirements to ensure fail safe integration of a program into a production system
· Organize, coordinate and execute system integration testing
· Supports customer satisfaction process by taking accountability and addressing their concerns/ issues
· Provides accurate estimates of work effort for client project
· Guide/ Mentor other team members in terms of Technical and cooperate with them in meeting project deadlines and deliveries
