Position: Automation tester

Location: Houston, TX

Duration:6 Months

 

 

The client is looking for a automation tester with the test complete technology. Probably 3-5 yrs experience, going to run, maintain and update about 200 scripts and coded UI will be a plus.

 

Candidate skillset expectation:

 

1. Test Complete Tool

2. Record & Play back

3. Test Complete Scripting - Jscript

4. Data driven test using script

5. Test Automation Framework

 

 

Senior Automation Test Engineer with hands on experience in Test Complete Automation tool. It will be great with C# programming knowledge.

2. Should have experience in developing the automation scripts and frameworks using Test Complete tool

3. Data drive the test with multiple set of data

4. Handle the complicated systems automation using Test Complete where there may be some object identifications challenges

5. Identify and develop reusable components/methods

6. Develop custom reports in addition to default Test Complete report for more details

7. Proven scripting experiences with XML, Excel objects and SQL statements

•Understanding of testing and development life cycle methodologies

•Strong analytical skills

•Working knowledge and experience in all phases of software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, test planning, test case design, and test execution.

Responsibilities:

•Utilize TestComplete to develop modular automated test scripts (data, keyword driven and Hybrid approach) utilizing reusable functions/methods, action libraries, and performs basic management of objects

•Develops modular and robust automated test scripts utilizing keyword-driven actions, exception handling, and other advanced automation techniques.

•Develops a testing framework that simplifies the development of an automated test suite by providing a set of reusable services that frees the script developer from the more mundane tasks of recording and programming automated test scripts.

Knowledge on other automation tools such as Coded UI will be added advantage.
