Job Title: Java Developer with ActiveX exp

Location: Hunt Valley, MD or Iowa city, IA

Duration : Long term

Rate : $45/hr on C2C

 

Required Skills:

Requirement to provide support for a software application.

This will require someone that can respond to and communicate with external customers.  

The vast majority of tickets revolve around the configuration of the site's browser and workstation in relation to our ActiveX controls.  

This will require a solid knowledge of Windows XP, 7, and 8, as well as, Internet Explorer security options.

Should also be proficient in JAVA and PL/SQL to track down issues and perform code fixes if necessary.   

Need to be able to create queries to run various data extracts as requested.

Job Title: Infrastructure Solutions Architect

Location: Chelsea, MA 

Duration : 12+ Months

 

Qualifications: 

Knowledge of data center operations and infrastructure. 

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000 through Windows Server 2008 R2 and how applications are deployed on these platforms. 

Basic knowledge of application architecture and how applications interface to the Internet as well as to databases. 

Must know how to use MS Word, Excel and Visio. 

Knowledge of information processing, hardware and related Operating Systems, Windows and VMware technology, networking concepts, routers, firewalls, network security. 

Ability to investigate and do research in order to provide effective solutions with regard to IT infrastructure as it relates to migrating physical and virtual systems to ITDs virtual solutions located in Chelsea. 

Must have excellent communications skills and be able to express findings and recommendations clearly, to differing levels of management, both verbally and in writing. 

Must be familiar with IT business practices and able to interface and integrate with ITD functional areas. 

Must have excellent human relations, communications and analysis skills, planning and organizational proficiency and good business judgment. 

Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions 

Ability to provide periodic oral and written status of work being performed, as necessary. 

Ability to perform related duties, as required. 

Must be a self-starter and able to creatively resolve issues as they appear. Candidates will be asked to describe how they are productive without continuous oversight. 

Should have a minimum of five years in information processing or related responsibilities with at least two years of IT technical planning and design experience.

Job Title: Sr. Applications Developer

Location: Southborough, MA

Duration : 6+ Months

 

Description:

This Sr developer resource with 5+ years of experience will work with the application group lead to design product migrations. 

 

The resource will need to have the following skills: 

Developing and testing MVC and Spring customer facing applications. 

Rabbit message Queue processing experience 

Spring batch experience 

Write functional and technical documentation and performing code reviews as needed.

Job Title: Java Developer with SOLR exp

Location: Manhattan, NY

Duration : 6+ Months

 

Role Responsibilities 

Work on a daily basis with other developers, software architects, TPMs, and database architects 

Owning and driving technical roadmap for search products based on SOLR

Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to ensure that all solutions adhere to modern design principles and performance standards 

Actively participate in release planning, sprint planning and estimation sessions. 

Produce POC or solution demos to prove out new technologies 

Stay connected with ongoing industry innovations to expose to the organization to the latest in technology and techniques 

Leading and coordination of design/implementation efforts between internal teams and external development partners 

Driving user story brainstorming, review, and clarification sessions with software and quality engineering teams 

Deep diving on key architectural components; discuss, debate and influence technical teams on system design 

 

Requirements 

10+ years of relevant web development experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience 

7+ years Java development experience with external customer facing eCommerce sites 

5+ years of site search experience 

Expertise with agile/SCRUM development methodologies and software development lifecycle principles 

Technical understanding of SQLOracle, JDBC, XML, Servlets, Hibernate, and Spring 

Experience with git and SVN (or similar source control tools) 

Experience with Maven, Jenkins, Continuum, or similar tools for automated build and deployment Knowledge of SOA concepts is required. 

Technical understanding of Web Services technologies including REST, SOAP and WSDL is required 

Ability to build relationships across the company, and understand at a high level what initiatives are moving forward in all technology areas

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19102

Duration : 6+ Months

 

Required Skills/Experience 

Analytical and development skills with embedded software on CPE video devices and some driver level knowledge 

Digital Cable Settop Platform Operation/Troubleshooting 

Experience with data collection & tracking, centralizing data from Excel in databases and in creating reports
