** 9 Years IT experience with Netezza, UNIX, BI certification

** Must possess a solid background in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing

** Must have experience in large multi-terabyte DW environments

** Experience in performance troubleshooting, SQL optimization, and benchmarking

** Experience in designing, implementing, and documenting operational best practices

** Requires strong knowledge of the UNIX operating systems

** 4+ years of hands-on Netezza DBA experience

** 4+ years of Linux/UNIX and Shell scripting experience

** 3+ years of experience in SQL tuning

** Hardware and network, router, switches component knowledge in depth

** Experience with formulating a plan for database continuity

** Excellent problem solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly 

** Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills

** Bachelor's degree, or higher, in one of the following: Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
