Job Title: SAP REVENUE RECOGNITION Expert
Duration: 5+ months
Location: Santa Clara, CA,
Qualifications:
Needs to be a facilitator, peacemaker, "trusted guide" personality that can lead the team through the gauntlet of challenges with rev rec
2. Needs to be highly credible from a subject matter expertise in Accounting and Rev. Rec. Not mainly a technical SME, but more so an Accounting/Rev Rec expert but with insights into how to do it right on SAP
3. Needs to be great PM, who will organize, plan, lead design, track issues, manage phasing/phase gates through Testing, Transition, Support phases
4. Needs to understand how to manage the transition including Training, Business Readiness (desk procedures, error handling, reporting, support readiness), Cutover (data conversion validation to ensure clear audit trail of conversion).
5. Needs to understand support readiness, how the business users will support themselves and how IT is set up to provide strong support especially in early production. This is a crucially sensitive area as the business will want to try to run parallel for an extended period of time, but that is likely unrealistic. If the strategy and mechanics of transition aren't well designed, a big risk for the project is to try to run parallel and manage that badly (because it may be unrealistic). The Lead Consultant must be able to lead the team through the design, planning and execution of Transition pragmatically but also in control.
