Requirements Details:

Position: Software Test Engineer 

Location: Lombard, IL 

Length: 12 Months 


Candidate will join an Agile development team responsible for implementation client's next generation feed handler and adapters. This is a brand new project unencumbered with legacy code. Candidate will develop functionality to integrate client's next generation feed with Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform (aka RMDS). 

Technical Skills: 


The Software Test Engineer will work within the high profile and dynamic next generation market data API development & product team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design & implementation of tooling & infrastructure for testing API's; as well as collaborating with other product teams to create and evolve policies, best practices, and testing frameworks for distributed systems testing. There will be a high degree of autonomy given to meet these responsibilities. 

The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for: 


Responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance, testing, automation and overall system quality assurance for Interactive Data Corporation's next generation market data API suite. 

Essential Responsibilities: 


* Implementation of test plans, test infrastructure, test automation and project plans. 

* Focus on Next Generation Market Data API's and Components. 

Experience and Skills: 

Qualifications: 


* 3-5 yrs quality assurance and software testing. 

* MQSeries, TREP, UPA, RFA, RMDS experience 

Pluses: 


* Experience working with API's 

* Experience testing large scale enterprise products
