Position:  Network Security Engineer

Duration: 6 months

Location: Dallas TX

 

Job Description

·         Have experience of common information security standards, such as: ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, ITIL, COBIT etc. SOX Audit and PCI FIM data is highly desirable.

• Technology certifications in various firewall technologies and/or CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, SANS and other Information Security related certifications will add more value.
• Have a solid working knowledge of networking technology and tools, firewalls, proxies, NIDS, HIDS, IPS and the OSI Model, including TCP/IP protocols and standards.
• Experience in Vulnerability Assessment/penetration testing using different tools like Nessus, ISS Scanner, Qualys Guard, Mcafee foundstone, Hyena etc.
• Security Consultant specialized in network and endpoint security. Should have extensive experience in analysis, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, network access control implementation and audit .Good knowledge of open source tools and Linux skills. Experience in network architecture and design.
• Deployment of SIEM and event co-relation tool. Review the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool interface, as the tool correlates and aggregates alert data
• Best practices for architectural design and experience leading architecture and design reviews for enterprise global systems (especially security systems).
• Work collaboratively with the Network Security, technical and business teams to assist with security breaches and supply information and analysis as necessary, and follow up accordingly to security incident management procedures and processes.
• Preferred Certification: CEH,  SANS, CISA, CISM, ISO27001, CISSP, CISM,  CRISC, SANS
• Product based Certification (Checkpoint, CISCO, Juniper, etc)
