Position: Network Engineer

Location: Torrance CA

Duration: 6 months +

 

Market rate

 

Skills Needed:

·         Expert:

o    TCP/IP

o    Routing (BGP, OSPF)

o    Switching

o    High-Availability Designs

·         Skilled:

o    Cisco Nexus Emerging Technologies (OTV, vPC, Fabric Path, VDC)

o    Converged Data Center Designs

o    MPLS

o    Application and Workload Mobility Designs

o    WAN Optimization

Must Haves:

·         Enterprise-level experience:

o    Designing, configuring, deploying Cisco Nexus (NX-OS) products

o    Designing, configuring, deploying Cisco Catalyst (IOS) products

o    Designing, configuring, deploying Data Center solutions for virtualized environments

o    Designing, configuring, deploying Data Center Interconnect solutions

o    Designing, configuring, deploying Wide Area Network solutions

·         CCIE, or equivalent level experience

·         Experience contributing to multi-disciplined project teams for service delivery

·         Strong written and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred/Nice-to-haves:

·         Cisco Nexus Switches (7000, 5000, 2000, 1000)

·         Workload mobility designs (VMware focus)
