Job Title : SQL DBA with Pivot Exp
Location : Beaverton, OR
Duration : Long Term Contract
Required Skills: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
1. SQL Server 2008/2008 R2/2012 Management Studio – For doing SQL Queries.
2. Excel 2007/2010 Doing PIVOTs, VLOOKUPS
3. SharePoint 2007 – For Managing Documents.
4. Powerpoint skills
The nature of the work is focused on the company's computer and telephony technology tools used to create, store, exchange, and use all forms of information. Implements and maintains smooth operation and physical design of databases. Conducts performance tuning of indexes and databases in general. Reviews database design and integration of systems, provides backup recovery and makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements. Maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization. May develop stored procedures and/or triggers. Works on problems, incidents, and customer management as assigned by senior staff, with a goal to increase independence. Uses existing monitoring techniques to monitor the health of databases; should be able to resolve some issues uncovered during this monitoring with no assistance, but will escalate findings to the senior staff for direction and resolution.
This role becomes the SME for the Nike Vendor Portal, which manages supplier certifications and programs. This role helps to manage the Nike MSI Support email inbox, and helps suppliers understand how to log onto the Portal, and how to engage in the programs.
