Title: Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
Duration: 7+ Months
Location: Columbus OH (F2F is Must)
The candidate for Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst would be responsible for BI end-user support and development:
(1) Providing ad hoc BI support to end users, occasionally under aggressive timelines.
(2) Working with users and business analysts to understand and define reporting requirements, owning or supporting BI development and testing
(3) Collaborating with team members to design appropriate end-to-end solutions, including identification of applicable BI tools and products;
(4) Documenting BI design including deliverable specifications;
(5) Documenting and enforcing BI standards and procedures.
Candidates should have an understanding of business intelligence concepts (ex. standard reporting, OLAP, dashboards, predictive analytics) and how BI can be leveraged to add business value. The ideal candidate will have both technical abilities and a business perspective. Understanding business needs, communicating effectively with business users, and approaching design from a business perspective will be key. Candidate will also be responsible for providing guidance on design standards and best practices to end users and performing quality reviews. Candidates will also be expected to prepare and deliver individual and classroom training to end users.
Candidates should have knowledge of lifecycle development methodologies, standards and procedures, analytical skills, proficiency in root cause data analysis, problem solving skills, ability to multi-task and provide expertise for multiple development teams across concurrent project tasks, and be resourceful and self starter with minimal hand holding required. Exceptional team work and communication skills required.
The environment uses the following BI products: QlikView 11, Business Objects Infoview and WebIntelligence XI3.1 SP6; Crystal Reports 2008 and Microsoft Excel/Query 2007.
