Job Description :

â¿¢         Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds

 

â¿¢         Good understanding of {{Depending on the specific case, a developer should have the knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as React JS AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, DurandalJS etc.}}

 

â¿¢         Proficiency with HTML and CSS and how to integrate in a standards-based fashion with each other and JavaScript.

â¿¢         Proficiency with the DOM and asynchronous event-programming model.

â¿¢         Experience with cross-platform (PC/Mac, desktop, laptop, tablet) and cross-browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) development.

â¿¢         Experience with JSON and RESTful web services.

â¿¢         Experience with User Centered Design.

â¿¢         Understanding of the full software development lifecycle.

â¿¢         Experience with Mobile development and Touch interfaces.

â¿¢         Understanding and experience implementing web accessibility standards (WAI-ARIA).

â¿¢         Experience developing (not merely using) JSP Tags.

â¿¢         Understanding of source code management tools such as Subversion or Git, and the workflows associated with them (branching and merging).

â¿¢         Understanding of Agile practices such as test driven development and continuous integration.
