Position: Red Hat Linux System Administrator

Location: Windsor Mill, MD.

Duration: Long Term

This position requires 5+ years of related experience with a BS degree.

We have an immediate need for a Red Hat Linux System Administrator who will:

• Provide systems administration support for multiple RHEL servers.

• Evaluate, recommend, install and configure new software and hardware products.

• Perform system tuning and troubleshooting to resolve issues.

• Support the development and testing teams as necessary, evaluate and recommend new products that meet their needs.

• Manage the SAN environment to ensure availability and performance.

• Design and implement creative solutions that improve system processes through automation and documentation.

Required Skills:

• Five (5) years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration

• BS Degree in related field is required or four (4) years of additional experience

• Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server administration

• Experience with Solaris 10 and/or Solaris 11

• Experience with the management of Storage Array Networks

• Experience with Shell scripting

• Must possess effective organizational, interpersonal, oral and written skills, analytical and problem solving capabilities and close attention to detail

• Must be a team player able to multi-task in a dynamic environment
