Position: Teradata DBA

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 6+ Months

Skills: 

Teradata DBA / Data Modeling 

Job Description:

• Should have 5-7 years of experience working on UNIX & AbInitio
  
• Should have 3 - 5 years of experience on Teradata or any other Data base.
  
• Should have a good understanding of basic SQL.
  
• Should have exposure to all the phases of SDLC5. Should have good verbal & written communication skills.
  
• Should have worked in a Agile delivery environment.
  
• Should be a self starter & should be proactive in gathering information.
  
• Should work on proactively getting feedback from customers & identify improvement areas.
  
• Should be good at setting the correct expectation & should strive to build a positive perception with the customers.
  
• Previous Working in Onsite and offshore model is preferred.
  
• Capable of understanding of business requirement/mappings and converting them into design.
  
• Capable of communicating the design via documents to developers
  
• Capable of co-ordination with QA folks
  
• Capable of prod rollouts/warranty support
  
• Capable of scheduling16.Should be also versed in Conduct IT
