Job Role: Scrum Master (lead position)

City: Columbus, Ohio

Duration: 1 year with probable extension

 

 

Requirements:

 

•Significant knowledge of agile values, principles, and the Scrum framework

•At least one year experience in the role of Scrum Master or Iteration Manager diligently applying agile and Scrum principles and practices

•Knowledge of and experience with other agile frameworks (Kanban, Extreme Programming, etc.)

•Experience demonstrating, and coaching others in, the areas of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency

•Knowledge of and experience with common agile practices, including but not limited to User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and being Done at the end of a Sprint

•Significant experience forecasting team budget burn and project budget spend

•Significant experience with release planning and forecasting, aligning delivery expectations with all stakeholders

•Experience applying a wide variety of patterns and techniques to enhance the Scrum framework (for example: Burn down and burn up techniques, various Retrospective formats, team Stand Up patterns, etc.)

•Excellent communication skills with experience engaging personnel at all levels of the organization

•Excellent facilitation skills

 

Desired Skills/Certifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• PMP Certification

• Scrum Master Certification a plus (PSM, CSM)

• Agile Coaching Certification a plus (CSC, ICP-ACC)

• Experience using agile project management software.

• Electric utility industry experience.
