Location : Plano, TX

Duration : 3-12+ Months

Need local candidate

 

Portfolios: This is a must. Would look for product or software-based samples 

This not typical UI designer we need someone with creative side and who can come for FTF only local candidates.

 

Job Description:

-       User Interface design concepts

-       Data Gathering methods – Cognitive walkthroughs, Contextual Inquiry, Focus groups, Persona creation, User Research and testing

-       GUI design and application strategy experience with emphasis on information architecture and interaction design for software applications.

-       Experience working with project teams to help define the overall user experience strategy, create interaction models, architect effective solutions using wireframes solutions and prototypes

-       Analytical skills with the ability to identify and communicate clients' usability challenges.

-       + years of experience in designing visual language systems for digital products and services

-       A keen understanding of user behavior as it relates to design

-       Sensitivity to diverse subject matter- from product interaction to software tools and applications to the web

-       Skills with relevant design software packages - knowledge in Skechtup, Adobe tools, Marvel, Axure & Invision preferred 

-       Solid understanding of practical benefits and limitations of internet technologies. Responsive Web Experience a must.

-       Intimate knowledge of how 

o   comps translate to code & 

o   Wireframes translate to VD

-        the skills to balance great design with short deadlines
