Location     : Palo Alto, California

Duration     : 6 Months

Client          :    Varian Medical

 

 

Required Skills:

 

      ·         Debugs linear accelerator servicing software products through the use of  systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.

·         Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.

·         Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

·         Supports test environment by installing new releases and works with engineers as problems arise.

Requirements: BS in Computer Science or Engineering

• Minimum 7+ years of applications and systems software testing experience in a client server environment

·         • Experience in medical industry.

·         • Experience testing software applications interfacing with real time control systems a must.

·         • Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and prioritization skills

·         • Excellent written and oral communication skills

·         • Knowledge of radiation therapy preferred

·         • Experience with verification and validation of medical devices is preferred Knowledge of FDA QSR design control requirements (21 CFR Part 820.30) preferred

·         • Expertise in using Quality Center (QC) tool

·         • Proficiency in using Rational RequisitePro, Rational Clearquest or similar tools

·         • Fair Systems and Network Administration level knowledge and experience with Windows 7
