Role: Data Center Technology Architect

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 1 year

 

Job Description

Plan, organize and lead large migration program (with a client team of 6 PMs reporting to that role).

 

Responsibilities

Provisioning of resilient internal cloud services

 

•             IAAS (compute capacity, storage capacity, network),

•             PAAS (data base, server tools, desktop tools, identity management, etc.),

•             SAAS (messaging, collaboration tools, etc.)

 

Leveraging public cloud services

IT security

Environmental impacts/Green Computing

Identifying and assigning the criticalities of applications/systems.

 

Data Center Strategy:  Analyze the information collected and create a Data Center Strategy to meet our client's needs for at least the next ten years.

 

Options to Implement Data Center Strategy:  Develop and provide a minimum of two options for the conceptual design of our client's Data Center environment that implements the Data Center Strategy.
