Role: Senior Project Manager 

Location- Lake Oswego, (Portland area), OR

Duration-  1 - 2 years

 

Candidates should be senior level PM's with solid experience managing healthcare implementation projects. Client is implementing a new Claims System and they need someone that have managed this type of project.

 

Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management
• 5+ years managing large, complex implementations; multi-state and multi-region required.
• Thorough knowledge of policies, practices and systems.
• Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
• Full knowledge of industry practices.
• Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other related fields.
• Participates in internal and external forums to develop expertise in project management methodologies. Applies concepts to resolve issues in creative and effective ways.
• Applies IT methods or recognized equivalents appropriate to the specific needs of the project/client.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of related experience in conducting highest level analyses regarding programs/applications/systems and making strategic recommendations to management.
• Release Management skills a plus
