Position:  Sr Front End Java/ Sr GUI Developer

Number of Positions: 3

Location: Denver, CO

Duration: 12+ months

Rate: $50 hour C2C

GUI Java Requirements

• BS or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2-4 years in architecting large and business critical systems
• 6 - 8 years of experience in developing, deploying and administering Java/J2EE-based applications

• 6 - 8 years of GUI/web development experience using Java/J2EE/JSP/Servlet technologies.
• 6 - 8 years of GUI/web development experience using Web 2.0/AJAX frameworks like JQuery, YUI etc.
• 6 - 8 years of GUI/web development experience using MVC frameworks like Struts or Spring MVC.
• 3 - 6 years of experience in SOA/Web Services (SOAP, RESTFul using XML and JSON)
• 3 - 5 years of strong experience with XML, XSLT, XSD, SAX/DOM, JAXB
• 2 - 4 Years of experience in developing applications using RDBMS, SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
• In depth knowledge of Unix environment that includes 4-7 years of experience in shell scripting
• Familiarity with application servers Weblogic and/or JBoss for deployments and administration
• Familiarity with Apache HTTP/Web Server
• Business knowledge and technical expertise in telephone provisioning will be a plus
• Candidate must have experience in developing performance intensive, high availability application preferably using WebLogic/JBoss
• Strong skills in solving complex problems
• Works well in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strict adherence to development standards

Preferred Requirements:
Experience with working on telephone provisioning
Strong interpersonal skills; capable of writing recommendations and interacting with company personnel on complex topics
Demonstrated experience of participating on teams of technical experts in a diverse, fast-paced, 7 x 24 environment.
Proven experience meeting large deliverables with fixed and aggressive deadlines.
Ability to present clear, concise reporting on concurrent projects and issues
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
