Senior Level Informatica QA Testers/Analysts

Baltimore, MD, 6+Mts

Rate is $50 Hr C2C

*Comprehensive understanding of Data Warehouse, BI and Data Management concepts (including dimensional data models, data warehousing, operational data stores, etc).
*Experience (at least 3 years) working with and testing Informatica ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) applications, other tools or techniques considered
*Experience with Power Exchange is a plus
*Experience (at least 3 years) using and testing Business Intelligence applications, including reporting, dashboards, alerts and other BI deliverables. Microstrategy experience is preferred.
*Understanding of how to translate source/target mappings, analytics requirements and other artifacts into test plans and test cases to validate the quality of DW deliverables (including Data Warehouse and ODS tables, BI reporting)
*Extensive experience with reading and validating data in multiple data sources and targets (different file formats (CSV, fixed, ASCII, EBCDIC, packed, XML) and different databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, MySQL, Teradata)
*Knowledge of COBOL Copybook is a plus
*Experience working with Control-M
*Oracle 10G or higher experience preferred, mainframe and Unix file experience preferred.
*Strong SQL knowledge and experience. Ability to generated or modify data for testing
*Experience executing a wide variety of UNIX commands and scripts
*Knowledge of back office Credit and Operational processes (Credit / Underwriting, Settlement, Chargeback, etc) preferred
*Knowledge of FDR or TSYS or other mainframe based vendors is a plus
*Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to communicate across business and technical teams
*Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
*Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related field and/or at least 3+ years plus experience in *Data Warehouse quality assurance & testing
