Title: Network WAN

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Plano TX

               

The ideal candidate will have technical networking expertise and background to provide primarily engineering subject matter expertise in WAN routing and data network engineering services including;

Wide Area Network (WAN) hardware, WAN routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP), and network engineering standard Local Area Network (LAN) hardware.

The primary focus will be in the Cisco Network WAN solutions.

This role will partner with leadership, network, applications, security, and project management teams to provide solutions for our internal customers. Understanding and development of business requirements and service level agreements is a must. The candidate will work with peer engineering and architecture team members to develop a broad base of understanding for tactical and strategic solutions driving the expanded implementation of Network WAN and routing services.             

 

The candidate must have:

7+ years’ experience in design level Network WAN hardware and routing protocols using Cisco solutions

7+ years’ experience in with Cisco Routers and Switches, WAN, LAN, MAN, MPLS,

Multicast Network certifications are required – CCNA/CCNP (WAN) Project Planning and cost analysis experience

 Excellent written and oral communication s

kills Ability to lead internal and mixed technology virtual teams Windows, Excel, Visio (Advanced Operation/Usage)
