SECURITY ANALYST:

Location: Brentwood, TN

ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED

Duration: 6+ Months

 

 

The successful candidate will assist in the coordination and completion of team responsibilities while serving as a subject matter expert.  When appropriate, this position will assist in process improvement initiatives including the validation of documented IS Security processes and tracking the completion of any needed updates.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination and collection of data used in external and internal audits
• Validation and process improvement for collected data
• Write and analyze MS-SQL queries correlating multiple data feeds
• Determine the root causes from data analysis
• Document and present proposals for remediation efforts Remediation of Findings
• Tracking remediation of audit exceptions

Requirements:

• A minimum of five years of experience is required in information security (or a comparable position) at the organizational level in a professional environment.
• Must have strong experience in event correlation, writing and analyzing MS-SQL queries.
• Strong research and analytical skills are necessary.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision and direction is required.
• Working knowledge of common information security tools and best practices is required.
• Must have proven analytical and technical skills to be able to devise new and adapt existing methods, techniques, and procedures to meet specific requirements.
• Verbal, written, and listening skills are required.
• Proven leadership, mentoring and team development skills required.
