Skills Required and Job Description:

Interview: Phone then Face to Face Visa: USC/GC/EAD-GC only!!! The core of the role is validating data in SQL, writing functional tests for the services layer, and the work is completely middle and back end (no UI testing at all).  You will be using mostly Visual Studio testing tools and existing tools that we have developed (vs. building your own tools).  They are integrating with 3rd parties to make sure their data flows through.  You will be developing test cases to test code and building unit test frameworks but not actually writing production code. Description:- Own and maintain test cases and plans to verify newly developed or modified backend component and services using Visual Studio Test Framework, C# and SQL. Help in end-to-end integration testing with other internal teams. Functional verification, identification of bugs and reporting in JIRA. Own and maintain TEST and STAGE databases, set up and verify TEST data. Understand complex communications between different software systems and develop approaches to verify technically difficult problems. Qualifications:- A Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Software Test and Quality Control/Assurance Engineer on large scale software systems using the Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET> stack. Thorough understanding of writing and executing test plans for web architectures (including HTTP, HTTPS and TCP/IP) Experience with load and performance testing back end components is required. Proven understanding of backend software systems and their communication mechanisms. They are all Rest web services, no SOAP at all Top 3 Capabilities:- Need to be able to build tests using NUnit (or MBUnit or Gallio for JUnit).  Someone who has used Microsoft testing tools is highly preferred but not a hard requirement.  Performance Testing.  SQL - Need the ability to validate data. They run Memcache on Linux so experience with that is a plus.
