JD: Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with business analysts and designers in the development of a rich J2EE based UI and business component development
* Research, document, design and implement program requirements and specifications.
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
Required Skills/Experience
* 5+ years' experience developing Java and Java EE based enterprise applications.
* Proven experience implementing mission critical applications that have been deployed to production environments is a must (Developers in Maintenance roles not desired).
* Financial Services industry experience is desired.
* Strong development experience with Servlets, Spring, EJB 3, and Hibernate, is a must.
* Knowledge of handling XML messages in Java
* Experience in object oriented analysis and design
* Strong understanding of data modeling and relational databases such as Oracle.
* Knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
* Experience with business integration using Java Messaging Service is desired.
* Experience with JUnit/TestNG, Maven, and SVN
* Knowledge of Hudson would be a plus.
* Experience using HTML 4, CSS, JavaScript experience would be a plus).
* Basic knowledge of the JSP
* ZK Java Web Framework or JQuery would be a plus.
* A quick learner with the ability to handle development tasks with minimum supervision.
* Strong Team player and works well with others.
