            ***** Healthcare Payer experience from one of the following companies a MUST: Aetna, Cigna, Humana, and United Healthcare, Champus/Tricare, Wellpoint, HCSC, TUFTS, Harvard Pilgrim, CDPHP, Oxford HP, Healthfirst NY & NJ, Fallon, Americhoice, NHP

 

Overvview:

The Data Integration Developer is responsible for the detailed design of a project's data integration component.  A typical data integration design effort usually involves working with the business users to determine the specific business, transformation and standard data handling rules, developing the detailed data mappings and assisting the ETL Developers and system owners to validate the results.

 

Requirements:

1.         Must have 5 years  exp Data Analysis expertise with Healthcare{ health insurance claims, provider and member subject areas, with a preference toward the claims subject area}  and drive the solution based on business requirements, current state architecture, data analysis input, and best practices including:

i.          Facilitate & participate in all the business requirement sessions, able to gain a good understanding of the business needs including:

         Strong ability to work with system owners to obtain requirements and manage expectations

a.         Work with Data Architects to support standard data handling rules

b.         Work with System owners to resolve data issues and refine business and transformation rules

c.         Perform source-to-target data analysis

d.         Participate in design and development reviews

e.         Validate developer unit tests, write and maintains system tests as required, support QA reviews

f.          Document business, data handling, and transformation rules in Source-to-Target Mappingd

g.         Support developer efforts to design Data Integration Workflows

h.         Ensures adherence to locally defined data standards for all developed components

         Minimum 3 years' experience using SQL to query data, and demonstrated strong SQL skills

         SQL emphasis on MS SQL Server and Sybase a plus

2.         Understands and worked on data quality tools like Informatica-based data integration effort

2.         Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

3.         Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator

4.         Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project
