Description
Customer team builds the foundation and services that power everything we do. Our customers are running 24/7 businesses, and our platform needs to be scalable and work around the clock. Our platform utilizes micro-services and queue based architecture leveraging best of breed technologies, such as Python/Django, Javascript, Celery, RabbitMQ, Postgres. Core aspects of this the role will involve researching, defining and developing technical solutions surrounding the overall platform itself. We work closely with our product & other engineering teams to make sure we are building a software-as-a service product that provides the most optimal solution to our customers.
Responsibilities
· Work with the engineering team to support ongoing development and evolution of the platform architecture.
· Build our robust scalable services to our existing architecture.
· Participate in all phases of project life cycle: analysis, design, develop, review, test, debug, deploy, & maintain
· Create and maintain technical documentation as needed
Requirements
· 5+ years of production grade SaaS experience
· 5+ years building reliable, highly available and scalable products
· Demonstrated experience with web applications
· Experience building multi-threaded applications
· Strong relational database fundamentals, hands-on experience with non-relational / NoSQL alternatives and solid grasp of which to use when
· Experience with message bus architectures
· Experience with design and implementation of REST APIs with a Service
· Oriented Architecture (SOA) mindset
