Title: ETL QA

Location: Rockville, MD

Visa: USC, GC, H4 EAD, L2 EAD  ( NO H1B and OPT)

Duration: 6 months

 

 

Position Description
 
The Tester will provide testing support to the Program's mission of designing and building an innovative, cost-effective, and efficient Master Data Management (MDM).  The Tester will be responsible for testing the releases and participating in peer reviews of test documents.  

 

Roles and Responsibilities
 
•         Develops and maintains detailed test plans, test scenarios and test cases. 
•         Coordinates the testing cycle with the Business Analyst and other Technical Teams
•         Works alongside MDM Development Team in the maintenance of test tools
•         Works alongside MDM Development Team in achieving defect resolution via test execution
•         Utilizes testing knowledge and experience to assist and advice Test lead / Manager on the progress of testing activities

 

 
Required Education and Experience
 
•         Bachelor's degree 
•         6 plus years of experience with establishing comprehensive test practices and methodologies
•         6 plus years of experience in Testing with DB2 or Other RDBMS tools, Web services using SOAP UI, ETL using Informatica Powercenter tools and XML
•         Possess strong technical skills to build advanced SQL Statements 
•         Experience with testing Data Mappings, ETL mappings
•         5 plus years of experience working with Test Management tools like HP ALM 
•         Experience in developing and maintaining system lifecycle documentation.
•         Experience working on Waterfall and Agile development models.
•         Experience in writing and manually executing test cases.
•         Experience with automating test cases
•         Experience in manual functional, regression, Integration and end to end testing
•         Experience with Web Services testing tools like SOAP UI         

 

 
Desired Education and Experience
 
•         Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, software engineering or related field
•         Experience with developing automated functional and performance test scripting using QTP and Load Runner or Unified Functional Testing
•         Experience in testing BI reports
•         CMS or healthcare industry
