Client: Major bio / Pharmaceutical Company
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
Duration: 4 Month+ contract position
Role: Data Analyst.
Client is in the process of implementing a new technology platform to enable the end to end service delivery of its Sourcing through Payment processes and as part of this transformation is looking to cleanse and standardize its vendor master data as well as restructure its vendor account hierarchy according to best-in-class vendor master data principles.
The data cleanse part of the job will entail analyzing large quantities of vendor master data information, collecting missing data that is required, and correcting data that is inconsistent with agreed upon standards. The vendor master data restructuring part of the job will entail grouping vendor accounts together using both appropriate account groups and partner functions and the Procure-To-Pay related change management connected to the restructuring of a vendor account hierarchy.
Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze large quantities of vendor master data information, collecting missing data that is required, and correcting data that is inconsistent with agreed upon standards
• Analyze vendor master data to determine appropriate vendor account groupings and to recommend appropriate account groups and partner function relationships
• Assess and initiate resolution on the open POs and invoices associated with vendor accounts subject to restructuring that will have to be resolved prior to restructuring activities
• Coordinate with project teammates to make sure vendor master data cleansing and restructuring efforts are aligned and that efforts aren't being duplicated
Job Requirements:
1) Data Analysis and/or Master Data-related experience
2) ERP-level database experience (like SAP, Oracle, etc.)
3) Excellent data-driven problem solving and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems
