Position: EDI Consultant

Location: Riverwood, IL

Duration: 1 Year Contract

ONLY USC & GC

RATE:40-43/hr on C2C

Job Description:

• Working with customers and vendors to enable data integration across.
  
• Provides technical expertise and support for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and other Business-to-Business communications.
  
• Duties include testing, implementing and maintaining B2B transactions, developing and maintaining trading partner definitions including relevant translation objects utilizing B2B translation software tools.
  
• Work closely with application development teams on integration solutions for new projects and enhancements.
  
• Supports the user community and creates and maintains partner relationships with customers and vendors.
  
• Escalates urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources
  

 

Work Experience Required:

• B2B integration with focus on EDI integration; familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
  

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with IBM Sterling Gentran for Unix/Windows
  
  
• Experience with Retail customers /vendors are preferable
