Location:  Parsippany NJ –Locals – F2F is must
Duration: 1 Year

Experience: 12+ YEARS

Architect Experience must

LOCALS PREFREED

Skills by Priority:
1. Strong ETL experience with very strong data profiling skills / strong with SSIS 
2. Experience and SSAS
3. Strong Multi-dimensional modeling experience (preferred using Kimball Methodology) 
4. Experience in Troubleshooting.
 
Client Job Description
The Developer/Architect - Data Warehouse/BI must have significant prior experience leading successful data warehousing implementations, including, a broad background and experience with BI solutions. This individual is responsible for establishing the technical architecture and scope for data warehouse/BI effort. This person must have strong professional consulting skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization.
 
Responsibilities include: 

• Translate business requirements using complex methods/models to determine appropriate data warehouse solutions and data needs 
• Recommend/select data warehouse technologies
• Design and direct the ETL process, including data quality and testing 
• Design and implement the logical and physical database structure 
• Define and direct the implementation of security requirements for the data warehouse  
• Willingness to code and play tech lead role 
• Performance tuning of database and BI components 
• Create the design of physical and logical data warehouse models identifying data sources, data movement, interfaces, and analytics, with the goal of ensuring data quality Identify and recommend database performance solutions for slow running code and SQL
