I have a need for OBIEE Developer for a 16 month contract position in Albany, NY.
- Response time from client=High
- Interview= Skype interview only
- Rate=$48/hr This rate is locked. I can not go higher than $48/hr.
- Client: NYS OMH
- Special note: Excellent communication skills are a must.
Must be a developer no admins.
The OBIEE Developer shall:
Participate in requirements analysis, by helping to capture, document and prioritize the custom business and technical needs
Contribute to the design and implementation of the metadata, ETL and/or reporting components of the solution. This includes testing and, at times, deployment of the components
Ability to review, refine and validate functional requirements and provide the design specifications for the OBIEE solution,
Build and/or modify OBIEE physical layer to meet defined business requirements for OBIEE Analytics dashboards and analysis
Complete technical documentation consistent with OMH BI policy
Employ sound concepts of data modeling within OBIEE / RPD/ BMM Layer star schema, snowflake schema etc.
Ensure that development activities adhere to the OMH architectural strategy so that overall business intelligence data integrity is maintained.
Design and develop the OBIEE Dashboard reports including, graphs and charts
Design and develop OBIEE Publisher reports including bursting requirements
Understand business requirements, architect, independently design, develop and implement solutions
Assist users in tuning and building reports
Conduct design review sessions with peers and QA teams
Work with peers to implement solutions when there are issues or enhancements needed to the vendor provided software
Coordinate and manage batch integration processes with specific business team members as and when needed
Plan and conduct unit and system integration tests for all project solutions and defect fixes.
Report progress and issues to Project Leader/Manager on a regular basis.
Serve as a subject matter expert in the field and stays up to date on current technology trends in the area of expertise
Complete technical documentation consistent with OMH BI policy
Analyze and deploy fixes to defects and help desk tickets if needed
Abide by OMH best practices in the design and implementation of BI solutions
Regularly communicate on progress, problems and plans to leadership;
Adapt to changes in the project plan and customer requirements
Mandatory Qualifications:
Six (6) years demonstrated hands-on experience in a team environment with:
OBIEE10g/11g (or Seibel) Answers/Analytics and Dashboards
Oracle 10g/11g database
SQL programming
HTML, Javascripts, and CSS coding
Data Warehouse/ Data Marts
Three (3) years demonstrated hands-on experience in a team environment with:
Oracle BI Administration tools including physical layer, business layer modeling, and presentation services
Toad or other similar database development tool
Visual Source Safe or similar source control software
Oracle OBIEE Answers/Analytics and Dashboards
Working with dimensional data models
HTML, Javascripts, and CSS coding
Toad or other similar database development tool
Visual Source Safe or similar source control software
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent work experience in Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) 11g Development / Administration.
Desirable Qualifications:
One (1) year demonstrated experience with:
Oracle WebCenter Suite
