Position:          Network Engineer with OpenStack
Location:         Mt Laurel,NJ
Duration:        12 Month
 
Technical Skill:-

8+ years of Strong Networking experience; superior knowledge and hands-on experience of LAN (wired & wireless), WAN, and Firewall environments; understanding of all OSI Layers from application to physical

5+ years of core telecom networking skill set and good knowledge on Cloud deployments.

Hands on experience on Juniper system for Ethernet products (like MPLS, L2,VPLS,VPN) and should have configuration and design experience.

Hands-on experience with the following vendors: Cisco, Arista, Nexus Juniper QFX networks.

Should have a good understanding of OpenStack, NFV, SDN Controller

Expert level of familiarity in implementing and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols: RIPv2 and RIPng, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS

Expert level of familiarity with IPv4 and IPv6

Professional level understanding of TCP and UDP including the ability to identify root cause of illusive problems through packet capture analysis and insightful analysis based on packet captures.

Expert understanding of popular network communications protocols such as DHCP (with sub-options), DNS, RPC, HTTP, SNMP, and ICMP

Expert understanding of Ethernet and the surrounding technology such as Spanning Tree Protocol (IEEE 802.1w and 802.1d), Trunking (IEEE 802.1q)

Understanding of MPLS networks and Layer3 VPNs (RFC 2574bis)

Experience with Layer 2 protocols and associated enhancements (LACP, L2 ECMP, 802.1d/w/s, 802.1X, 802.1Q, etc.)

Experience building and operating BGP networks.

Experience with standard TCP/IP protocols - HHTP / SSH / DNS / FTP / OSPF.

Strong experience with network systems, ideally Juniper JunOS, JNCIE / CCIE level experience highly desirable and Load balancing / routers / firewalls.

Strong working knowledge and experience in layer 3 routing protocols including daily operation in large networks : RIPv2, OSPF or IS-IS, and BGP

Advanced Knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet technologies, IP routing and routing protocols, multicast, Unix/Linux systems, network security technologies and carrier

 

Network architectures

 

Network security experience, including firewall and IDS/IPS appliances/functions

Specific knowledge of Juniper especially the Juniper MX, EX, and SRX platforms is preferred.

Broad knowledge of Juniper and Cisco configurations would be a plus.

Experience with Network Management Systems architecture, such as network monitoring, anomaly detection, device management, etc.

Scripting knowledge on python, ansible, etc., would be an additional advantage.

Strong hands on experience in Linux,UNIX operating systems and Unix Shell scripting.

Performance benchmarking of the VNFs, Benchmarking the vRouter

Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

VPN (GRE, IPSec/SSL VPNs)

Wireless (802.1a/b/g/n/ac)

Datacenter Virtualization (ESX/KVM/OpenNebula, etc.)

Global and Local Server Load-Balancing (GLB/SLB)

Multicast (PIM-SM, MSDP, IGMP)

DNS/DHCP

WDM (DWDM/CWDM)

Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
