We have an immediate requirement with our client and the details are as follows.
Role: Database ETL / ELT Developer (Netezza)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 7+ Months (Contract to Hire Potential)
Green Card, US Citizens or TN Visa Holders Only (NO GC-EAD, H1B, OPT)
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan an d accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Business users, Data Subject Matter Experts, PMO, Delivery Team, Vendor resources
Required Skills (top 3 to 5):
- Database ETL/ELT Development Experience
- Unix bash shell scripting
- Healthcare experience
- Netezza or Oracle SQL experience
Nice to Have Skills:
- Java JDBC development
- Tidal Scheduler
- Agile methodology
- Python development
