Job Requirement
· Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
· Must have experience understanding and implementing full Spotfire version 7.x architecture.
· Must have experience creating Spotfire version 7.x templates, presentations/dashboards.
· Must have experience in spotfire upgrades
· Must have experience with server side Spotfire version 7.x or greater administration including webplayer, automation and statistical server node management and package deployments. Able to handle folder management and folder permission security at an enterprise level
· Must have Java and .NET development skills as they apply to Web development (REST APIs) and strong database (s) experience with good SQL knowledge.
· Basic project management experience. Demonstrated success managing the delivery of upgrades and small projects
· Must have experience fielding Spotfire version 7.x tier II and tier III help desk tickets and managing a help desk administration team.
· Understanding of development tools that interact with Spotfire and other analytic tools (R scripts and Iron Python)
· Past experience developing training materials desired
· Ability to work with vendor to resolve application specific issues
· Ability to read and quickly understand network and application diagrams to determine possible issues
· Ability to mentor other team members on appropriate skills and Spotfire operating procedures
· Ability to interface with users and diagnose/resolve visualization issues
· Experience in Life Science or Clinical preferred
· Experience in AWS data technologies preferred
Programing:
· Required: Spotfire, SQL and one of C++, C#, Python
· Nice to have: R, JavaScript
Job Responsibilities:
· Candidate will be responsible for regularly evaluating current Spotfire environments to ensure optimal performance and will recommend changes when needed.
· Candidate will evaluate available Spotfire upgrades for potential future deployments.
· Candidate will lead upgrade efforts
· Candidate will be responsible for leading Spotfire help desk administration team.
· Candidate will be responsible for fielding tier II and tier III Spotfire help desk tickets on a daily basis.
· Candidate will be responsible for implementing custom Spotfire solutions when needed for software upgrade.
· Candidate will be responsible for working with Perkin Elmer as the Spotfire support when issues rise to tier III or tier IV events.
· Candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper documentation is in place for all changes or upgrades to the system including IQ/OQ and broad testing with user base before changes are implemented.
· Candidate will work with development and business teams on a daily basis and must be a team player.
· Work with existing SF experts to continue to "operationalize" SF. Ensure Vitalize, HPALM, UAR and other corporate policies are implemented and maintained.
· Provide hands on support and training with end users. Provide guidance to projects using SF.
· Create and convey SF tricks, tips and features via Yammer, Lunch and Learns and COP.
