Job Description:
- GOOD Juniper experience is a MUST!
- Experience in range of 5-10 years is preferred.
We're looking for a mid-level network engineer that will have the following Responsibilities:
- Layer 2 (switching)
- Layer 3 (routing) – BGP and OSPF
- Internet route optimization (eg. Noction or Internap MIRO)
- Carrier selection and circuit planning
- Peering interconnects
- Datacenter colocation (cabinets, power, network)
- Bringing up new colocation space from scratch to server rack ready
- Storage networks (Fibre Channel and iSCSI)
- Firewalls and Network Security (eg. Intrusion Detection, Network Tapping and Performance Monitoring)
- Application Delivery (load balancers)
- Looking for a candidate with extensive Juniper switching, routing, and firewall experience. Certifications at the JNCIP (professional) level highly preferred.
- We use Juniper SRX, EX, and MX products. We have some Cisco equipment (eg. ASA), but we grow with Juniper gear. We use A10 networks load balancers.
In short, the primary roles are:
- Switching/routing in a Juniper environment
- Datacenter / physical buildouts
- Network security
Note: We are Working with tier-1 Vendor.
