Role: Hadoop Architect

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Contract: 6+ Months
 
Job Description:
- Minimum 4+ yrs candidate ideally
- Build distributed, scalable, and reliable data pipelines that ingest and process data at scale and in real-time
- Build Java programs to engineer and deploy automated data ingestion
- Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Apache Kafka, HBase
- Experience with code development frameworks - GitHub, Jenkins
- Proficiency in Java, HDFS, Hbase, Hive, MapReduce, ETL, Kafka, Apache Sentry & Apache Solr
- Proficiency in Hadoop data formats
- Ability to work in fast paced, start-up kind of culture
- Strong communication skills
