MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Xamarin
•C# / .Net - The xamarin platform is just .Net on mobile and Mac. Strong C#/.Net skills and mobile experience could substitute, assuming they have strong mobile on whatever platform the position is for.
•Android /iOS ◦depending on what they need ◦Java, Objective-C & Swift language could be helpful. They arent used daily, but knowing the platform strengths is important, as it is a topic of conversation ◦iOS storyboards and Android Activity/Fragments
•JSON
And another of other related skills or terms •Xamarin studio/Mac (probably not a big thing, but helpful to know) •Git Knowledge. Branching, repositories, command line, etc •Knows how to work with a Server API •UI & Frontend Knowledge •Understanding of programming patterns & paradigms including ◦Publish/Subscribe or Dispatcher ◦Session Abstraction and Singleton ◦Application Lifecycle (Mobile UIs too) ◦Dynamic UI
•Strong OOP, Architecture, general software design (This is big)
Not directly related, but a strong understanding of agile, stories, standups, and good communication are a must. Some days almost 3-4 hours could be meetings or team pairing.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Intermediate foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO Design Intermediate understanding of Objective-C, iOS SDKs, XCode, and related development technologies Intermediate understanding of best practices in mobile UX design Intermediate knowledge of Agile development methodologies Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Related Work Experience Number of Years
