Job Description: The worker designs, analyzes, develops, and implements computer applications using Natural programming language, mainframe and web-based technologies following a structured application development methodology. Worker is responsible for analyzing business requirements, developing new and revising existing computer programs and systems; executing unit test procedures; and producing required program and project documentation. Worker may assist customers with developing business requirements. Worker produces accurate time estimates for technical solutions, and recommends technical solutions and resolves issues.
Requirements Minimum Skills Requirement in years
Years Skills/Experience
7 Experience in programming, system design and analysis, development of software designs and coding of existing systems using NATURAL programming language.
7 Experience in developing design and coding estimates for projects; assisting customers with developing consumable business requirements; consulting with team in estimating, organizing, and prioritizing projects; produces accurate time estimates and recommendations for technical solutions.
7 Ability to write, analyze and review complex software design solutions and development artifacts to ensure completeness, quality and compliance with standards and guidelines.
7 Experience using Tree house N2O change management system.
7 Experience performing or participating in unit testing, support system testing and user acceptance testing.
7 Extensive knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies and ability to analyze SDLC processes for design and code.
5 Skill in planning and organizing work to meet goals and complete multiple assignments without compromising accuracy.
5 Skill in effective verbal and written communications with other computer professionals and clients.
5 Ability to work independently or in a team environment and maintain effective and professional working relationships

2 Working knowledge and previous experience in maintenance and support of financial systems of the Texas Child Support Enforcement System (TXCSES).
