Description

THE JOB / Senior Mulesoft Developer

Our client is experiencing aggressive international growth and is seeking to expand its Mule ESB team. This is a great opportunity to work on multiple, exciting Mule projects for a growing list of international clients. They are open to having the selected Senior Mulesoft Developer work in a remote location.

 

THE WORK YOU'LL DO »

·  Participate in the design and delivery of our client's Mule ESB projects with customers around the world

·  Contribute to key phases of the development lifecycle

·  Identify, analyze and develop interfaces and flows

·  Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements

·  Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications

·  Develop solutions by designing system specifications, standards and programming

·  Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions

·  Provide crossover training as required throughout the company

 

Qualifications

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE »

·  7+ years of software development experience

·  7+ years of experience developing with Java

·  4+ years of experience working with the Mule ESB platform as a Senior Developer (anything from 3.5 to the current 3.7.3 is ideal)

·  Extensive software integration and/or other ESB experience is a must

·  Experience writing and running JUnit tests

·  Extensive experience working with XPath expressions and functions

·  Experience with TDD and continuous integration and deployment

·  Experience with SOAP and REST a must

·  Experience with Git and Subversion

·  Mule Cloud experience considered an asset

·  Legacy experience considered an asset

·  Bonus points for Mule Certification

 KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES »

·  Working knowledge of XSL/T

·  Deep understanding of SOA design principles and best practices

·  Have expertise in large distributed systems

·  Well versed in integrating mobile technologies

·  Background in agile and waterfall methodologies

·  Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

·  Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills

·  Interested and open to business travel – 25% travel requirement for onsite

EDUCATION AND TRAINING »

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
