Job Description:              

• Be a self-starter and capable of working independently to high standards of quality. When given a task, it is expected this person to be able to determine the best way to deliver the result

• Finds the appropriate tools to implement the project. The position requires the ability to understand the functioning of the PENAD software applications and the PENAD applications scope for the Net Plan Interim Solution Project, and the ability to respond effectively to application manager's requests and needs.

• Take technical specs and produce completed and well tested programs which meet user satisfaction and acceptance and precisely reflect the requirements.

• Take functional specs and come up with high quality technical specs.

• Use collaborative skills to work with project managers, task force members, database administrators, system administrators, users and other staff

• Enable workflow in certain areas of the system

• Adhere to project schedules and report progress regularly

• Person will be required to prepare technical documents like technical specs, flow diagrams, ER diagrams, user manuals etc.,

• Need to understand and be familiar/comfortable with Pension business and Pension related terms in general

• Prepare CMM required documentation for project, when applicable (Impact Analysis and Design, Test Cases, SMR )

• Ensure that Bank policies, procedures and standards are factored into project design and development.

• Conduct Peer Review on Code and Test Cases prepared by other team members, to assess quality and compliance with coding standards.

• Prepare weekly status reports and participate in status meetings - highlighting issues and constraints that would impact timely delivery of work program items.

• Communicate proactively with other team members and team lead.

• Participate in the estimation of work plans, test plans and implementation plans.

 

Education: Master's degree or equivalent experience,

 

Role Specific Experience: a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in building Peoplesoft systems using Peoplesoft and Database technologies, preferably work experience in Peoplesoft Pension Module Certification

 

Requirements:•

:• Excellent knowledge of PeopleTools, Peoplesoft Application Designer, Peoplecode, SQR and overall excellent technical skills on the Peoplesoft Development platform

• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle platform.

• Excellent ability to write complex and optimally tuned SQL queries, producing adhoc reports, load data into the database, write Oracle Stored Procedures – Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers.

• Expertise in SQR programming for producing complex reports and batch processes

• Ability to work in high pressure situations and tight schedules, quickly producing excellent solutions and solving problems, production issues

• Peoplesoft Workflow knowledge expected and working knowledge would be desirable

• Sufficient knowledge and working experience with rule based systems.

• Excellent Technical Writing Skills

• Knowledge of Peoplesoft HR/Payroll table infrastructure

• Be familiar/comfortable with Peoplesoft Pension, Pension business and Pension related terms in general

• Ability and willingness to propose creative and optimal solutions.

• The person must have the ability to work in a multicultural environment, and have excellent process, functional, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills, and willingness to work in a team environment to support other technical staff as needed. The person should have high tolerance for ambiguity.

• Proven conceptual, analytical and judgmental skills.

• Proven and demonstrated experience in full system development life cycle – Analysis, Design, Programming, Testing, Implementation, and Maintenance.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to pick up new business processes and technologies quickly.

• Sound understanding of and implementation experience with issue tracking, and source code repository.

• Understanding of CMM concepts and methodology

• Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team environment to support other technical staff as needed.

Desired Skills/Abilities (not required but a plus) Level III - 7+ years of experience"

Competencies   Enterprise Platform & Solutions : PeopleSoft Technical  

Experience (Years)          8-10

 

Essential Skills    Very strong PeopleTools Development, Strong development skills using PeopleTools 8.54 or 8.55 is a must.

Experience in Fluid UI/Dash Boards, Integration Broker and WebServices, Rest Service development, Portal/Pagelets development, PSQuery and Pivot Grids, Reporting Self service Dashboards is desired. Strong SQL/PlSQL development, Knowledge on PeopleSoft Security and setups is a must.
