Title: Network Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX

Position:  Contract

Interview: Phone/Face to Face/Skype

 

MUST HOLD A CCNP CERTIFICATION

·         Deploy & troubleshoot Cisco Routers, Switches, Optical network devices

·         Add & manage new devices discovered in Network Management systems

·         Handle escalations and troubleshoot problems

·         Handle deployment functions as requested

·         Manage and oversee shift handover process

·         Provide team support and process improvements through individual contributions.

·         Maintain and Update Knowledge Base and documentation

·         Perform change management in accordance with change management procedures

·         Perform capacity and performance management and report whenever exception is reported and takes remedial action

·         Troubleshooting Hardware and IOS related issue

·         Monitor and maintain SLA

·         Good knowledge for Network management software

·         Experience in vendor co-ordination

·         Hands on experience on upgrading IOS on network devices

·         Experience in using network sniffers & diagnosing network related issues

·         Experience in ITIL processes management

·         Excellent communication skills
