NonStop SQL/MX DBA

Role Description:

The DBA will build and support SQL/MX database instances on the Client Systems.
This individual must possess advanced troubleshooting skills and detailed knowledge of SQL/MX, Client and OSS Operating Systems.
The DBA will work with the database and system administrators to install, configure, document and manage physical database structures needed for production ready SQL/MX, implementation.
Preferred Expertise:
* 3+ years of hands on experience in development and administration of Client Nonstop SQL/MX database environments
* 3+ years of hands on experience with Client H and J Operating systems (What are the operating systems at client side?)
* 5+ years of hands on with in-depth knowledge of OSS/Client Operations
* 5+ years of hands on experience in a SQL/MP environment
* 5+ years of hands on Shell (OSS) / TACL scripting
* Strong database knowledge of SQL/MX, SQL/MP, DDL, DML, MXCI, NSM//Web
* Knowledge of ODBC interfaces and Pathways
* Logical and Physical database design expertise
* Must be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
