Job Title	Linux Admin with "Docker" experience and AWS
Project Location	Lemont, IL
Duration	6-12 Months Contract

Visa: USC OR GC ONLY

Job Description:

We seek someone to provide the following functions:

·         Administration of public and private cloud systems infrastructure.

·         Work directly with users on trouble tickets related to their use of the system.

·         Assist researchers in leveraging the system for their research.

·         Documentation of issues, procedures, and practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

·         Helpdesk or user support experience.

·         Experience with computer hardware (A+ certification, or equivalent training)

·         Amazon Web Services or Openstack experience.

·         Experience with Docker

·         Systems administration experience with Debian, and RHEL distributions.

·         Knowledge of and expertise in problem diagnosis and root cause determination.

·         Ability to communicate well with people of diverse backgrounds and computer Knowledge.

·         Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.

·         Flexibility in dealing with assignments and in working on several projects simultaneously.

·         Problem solving skills with experience in diagnosing complex problems

Preferred Skills and Experience:

·               System administration of Solaris and OpenSolaris.

·               Linux performance tuning.

·               Knowledge of OpenStack or demonstrate an ability to learn it relatively quickly.

·               Programming experience in Python

 

Note: We are Working with tier-1 Vendor.
