Position: Lead QA Engineer

Location: Eden Prairie, MN

Duration: 6+ Months (Contract to Hire)

Mode of Interview: Phone + Skype

Description:

Responsibilities:  • Design, development and implement automated tests  • Write and execute ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development), Selenium, and Java/Cucumber or .net /Specflow  • Be able to manage test data and utilize test data management tech  • Deliver solutions in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guardrails  • Mentor and direct other testers in automation principles  • Debug software and perform reviews of automation and application code  • Engineer solutions that collect and report test results through various metrics reporting tools  • Develop in-depth system and product knowledge  • Constantly evaluate the test automation strategy and approach to identify areas of improvement (i.e. test automation frameworks, dynamic data collection methodologies, coding standards, components and object repository methods, etc.)  • Partner with product owners and developers to identify areas for improved efficiencies  • Share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audience  • Participate in communities of practice to share knowledge, learn, and innovate  • Research and implement tools that support delivery  Required Skills: ·  Strong programming experience and passion for testing ·  Minimum of 4 years demonstrated experience in one or more of the following testing toolsets/frameworks: o    Selenium WebDriver (java) o    Cucumber JVM/Gherkin o    Selenium Grid ·  Experience working in adaptive methodologies like Agile-Scrum ·  Knowledge of SOA, cloud and multi-tenant architectures ·  Experience in testing UI/UX best practices and 508 compliance ·  Knowledge in tools such as JIRA/Confluence and Stash/Git/bitbucket ·  Strong written and communication skills required ·  Must be a self-starter/self-directed member of the team Desired Skills: ·  Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: o    Java o    Eclipse/IntelliJ o    JSON ·  Demonstrated experience with Continuous Integration, including one or more of the following build/deploy/version control tools: o    Jenkins o    Maven o    Git/Stash/Bitbucket ·  Experience in all or some of the following programming platform: o    Linux and Bash scripting o    JavaScript frameworks in HTML5/CSS3 context (AngularJS, jQuery, D3) o    RESTful APIs/JSON o    Mobile development ·  Experience working with databases and various data formats and related technologies for testing ·  Previous Healthcare experience beneficial
